چکیده

The thermophilic islolates of Mangho-pir spring water were of bacillary forms. All were gram positive, sporing rods, varying in sugar reactions; one being non saccharolytic, two monosaccharolytic, one disaccharolytic and nine fermented four or more sugars. All belonged to genus Bacillus of family Bacillaceae. All were found to be thermophilic varieties of ter-ristrial mesophilic species of genus Bacillus viz. B. circulans, B. pumilus, B. badius and B. pulvifacience (JPMA. 30:34, 1980).
